The first step in joining the UNR Triathlon club is to register your e-mail with our Yahoo Group. It includes an e-mail distribution list, which is used to distribute workouts and information. Members can post messages to the e-mail list and then the message is distributed to all the members on the list. The list server is our most important resource. People post workouts, social activities, requests for help or advice, and numerous other things to the list server.
Sign up Procedures:
1) Enter your e-mail address in the field below and press the enter button.
2) You will receive an automated reply with the options of confirming your registration either by replying to the e-mail or via the web. Please us the web option – this will give you a chance to sign up to use the entire Yahoo Groups site as opposed to just receiving e-mails.
3) Once you have proceeded with confirmation via the web, please select the following option: “Join the group.” You will be subscribed to the mailing list, and will have access to all the group’s Web tools such as Message Archives, Polls, Files and Photos.
4) Once you are on the list, it would be nice if you would post a message introducing yourself to the team. Once you sign up you will be given instructions on how to post messages to the server.
The next step would be to send an e-mail to nevadatriathlon@yahoo.com. Someone will promptly respond to your message with more information.
